- Black marker

Instructions
Step 1: Fold and Trace the Bear Body
Fold the A4 brown paper in half vertically.
Place the bear body template along the folded edge.
Trace around the template and cut it out.
Open the paper to reveal a symmetrical bear shape.
Step 2: Cut the Weaving Slits
On the sweater area, draw straight vertical lines.
Cut along the lines to make slits, stopping before the edges.
Do not cut all the way through.
Step 3: Add the Bear Details
Use a black marker to draw the bear’s face and sweater details.
Trace and cut the bear hands/arms template on brown paper and decorate with simple lines.
Glue the arms to each side of the bear.
Step 4: Cut the Weaving Strips
Cut long, thin paper strips (1.5 x 20cm each) from colored paper.
These strips will be woven through the sweater.
Step 5: Weave the Sweater
Slide the first strip over one slit and under the next, skipping one slit in between.
For the next strip, reverse the pattern.
Continue weaving until the sweater is filled.
Step 6: Secure and Finish
Flip the bear over and glue the strip ends in place.
Trim any excess paper.
