It’s officially pumpkin season! As you know we’re huge fans of cute unicorn crafts and had to create a magical twist on pumpkin decorating. These adorable DIY Mini Unicorn Pumpkins are not only easy to DIY they make a sparkly Halloween craft and decor.

Your little ones (and you as well) will love spending a quick afternoon turning plain pumpkins into delightful unicorn pumpkins.
We were inspired to use crochet flowers in our unicorn pumpkins inspired by these which we shared on our Unicorn Facebook page (yes we have a page dedicated to unicorns! Please follow us for the most magical finds).
But you can use any type of flower decorations – tissue, paper, dried, silk, or fresh flowers are all great alternatives!
Other than that you just need a few sparkly bling like sticker stars, glitter paper and markers to complete you pretty unicorn pumpkins.
DIY MINI UNICORN PUMPKINS – MATERIALS:
- Mini white pumpkins
- Small crochet flowers
- Star, circle stickers
- Glitter cardstock
- Black marker
- Pink paint pen
- Hot glue gun
- Stiff white felt
- Pink felt
INSTRUCTIONS (WATCH THE VIDEO BELOW) OR FOLLOW STEPS:
Step 1. Glue your flowers on the pumpkin.
Step 2. Cut out a triangle from your glitter cardstock and glue on top of the pumpkin.
Step 3. Cut out two white ears and two inner pink ears from your felt. Glue the pink to white. Then glue the ears to the pumpkin.
Step 4. Draw eyes with your black marker.
Step 5. Add your sticker stars/circle stickers. Note you can secure them so they don’t fall with a dab of clear glue (use a toothpick, dab the star/circle) and stick on the pumpkin.
Step 6. Draw pink cheeks with your pink paint marker.
How cute are these mini Unicorn Pumpkins? We have ours adorning our windowsill.
Halloween doesn’t have to be all creepy crawly and ghoulish. Especially with young kids, these sweet unicorn pumpkins add fun sparkle that take away the scary element of Halloween.
