There are so many fun ways to paint without a painbrush! We love apple stamping and using natural materials. This broccoli fall tree painting is the perfect autumn craft for kids of all ages. It's simple enough for toddlers to enjoy but creative enough to keep older kids engaged. Not to mention, broccoli florets are naturally shaped like tiny trees, making them the perfect tool for creating pretty textured trees!

Broccoli Fall Tree - Materials:
- 1-2 Broccoli florets (fresh and patted dried to keep moisture away)
- White cardstock or watercolor paper
- Washable Fall-colored paint (orange, red, yellow, and brown) we used acrylic paint
- Shallow paint dishes or plates
- Our free printable fall tree template (download below!)

Step 1: Prep Your Workspace
Lay out your fall-colored paint into shallow dishes. Have paper towels nearby for quick cleanup between colors.
Step 2: Print Your Tree Template (Download below)
Print our tree template (you can also draw your own). This will guide where your broccoli stamps go.
Step 3: Dip and Stamp
Have your child dip the broccoli floret into the paint (start with one color!) and press it gently onto the paper above the tree trunk outline. The bumpy texture creates beautiful "fall leaves."
Step 4: Layer the Colors
Repeat with different fall colors—orange, red, and yellow—letting kids overlap and blend the stamps for a full tree effect. Encourage them to cover the entire tree outline with colorful "leaves."
Step 6: Dry and Display
Let the painting dry completely, then display it proudly on the fridge or in a frame!
