In need of a last minute colorful and festive tree ornament keepsake for the kids? We’ve been all about DIY photo ornaments this Christmas and had to squeeze out one more idea for you all!

If you have pom poms, cardboard, scrap paper and ribbons, you’re all set to make these bright pom pom tree ornaments featuring your sweet kid. 

These are fun for the kids to get involved in making too! Have them pick out pom pom colors, apply with glue (if old enough) or just arrange on the frame, choose paper colors for the star and stem, or cut the ribbon.

POM POM TREE PHOTO ORNAMENT CRAFT – MATERIALS: 

INSTRUCTIONS: 

Step 1. Cut two cardboard triangles, same shape using your Exacto Knife and cutting mat. 

Step 2. On one triangle, measure out a smaller triangle and cut that. You will have two triangles now, one with a triangle frame cut out.

Step 3. Print out your photo sized to fit your smaller triangle frame, place it on top of the cardboard triangle that has no frame. Hot glue the top triangle with the frame on top. 

Step 4. Cut out a star and stem from your cardstock. Glue your star on top of your triangle.

Step 5. Arrange your pom poms on the side of the triangle and glue them on.

Step 6. Glue your stem. 

Step 7. Glue your ribbon. 

You’re done!
