Step 1: Start with the Number 1
Begin by drawing a large number 1 right in the center of your page. This will form the base of your giraffe’s long neck and body.

Step 2: Outline the Head and Body
Curve the top of the 1 into a rounded shape for the giraffe’s head. Next, extend the bottom of the 1 into two legs, and add a hump shape at the back for the giraffe’s body. Already, you can see the outline taking shape!

Step 3: Add the Face and Details
Draw two small ears and two antenna-like circles on top of the giraffe’s head. Add a tiny tail at the back. Don’t forget to draw hooves at the bottom of the legs.

Step 4: Decorate with Spots
Finish your giraffe by drawing fun spots all over its body. You can make them round or square—giraffe spots come in all kinds of shapes. Add face details like a mouth, nose and eyes. Color your giraffe with yellow, orange, and brown to make it extra cheerful.
