I’m a sucker for Shark Tank products and when I saw Create a Castle recently, I knew I had to get it for my kids. Each time we go to the beach they spend hours building castles, sand sculptures, and molds with their sand toys. Our toys are the basic ones you get in a pail from the convenience store, so I was excited for this fancy sand castle upgrade.

Create a Castle Review – Our honest opinion
Overall, we were impressed with Create a Castle’s mold design, aesthetic and ease in building realistic castles efficiently.
Stacking was sometimes a challenge, several of our second layers fell apart (the 6″ on top of the 10″). You need to pack the perfect mixture of sand and water to make it unmold perfectly.
We had better luck unmolding as single layers so this is great for building single-level castles outwards.
The mesh bag is great for transport but we wish it came with more tools or castle molds. A bucket or pail to make your sand wet would be a nice addition.

This is a great addition to your sand castle toys but wouldn’t necessarily replace them as the focus here is on making impressive sand castles. If your kids love dumping sand in a bucket over and again this is probably overkill. But if you’re looking for a next-level sand castle experience we recommend investing in Create a Castle!
