As long as you’re using non-toxic paint that is safe for the kids, that is all that you need to worry about! You can even make your own taste-safe paints to use as well!

Fun ways to share handprint art activities
I like to think about this as a memory art activity. It’s not only perfect for fall decor, but it’ll be so much fun to look back on as the kids get older to show them the size of their hands!
Once you print out the printable, all you need to do is paint your kids’ hands and then place their handprint right into the middle of the pumpkin. If they are old enough to paint they can do the hand painting themselves!
This is a great fall activity for preschoolers, or a fun way to create a card to send grandparents or family to make them smile. If you are an early educator, this would be perfect for a classroom activity as well.
