How to make a paper shamrock garland

  1. We used 8.5″ x 11″ sized paper. Cut strips of green paper into half inch wide strips
  2. Fold the strips in half then bend the two sides in to make a heart shape and staple or tape the two ends to complete the heart.
  3. Repeat 2 more times and glue/tape the 3 heart sides together to make a shamrock shape.
  4. Take another strip of paper and bend the two sides in leaving an inch width in between. This will be your shamrock stem. Point the two ends and cut off the excess paper. Staple shut.
  5. Glue/tape the stem to the bottom of the 3 hearts to complete your shamrock.
  6. You can add connect your shamrocks together with tape or glue and then tie two pieces of strings on both shamrock ends to hang up as a garland.
