We were provided a copy of Girl CEO for review. All opinions are our own.

Girl power! When it comes to empowering young women, we like to invoke an entrepreneurial spirit in our house. Books that contain stories from inspirational, passionate women leaders are definitely in our repertoire.

The book, Girl CEO by Ronnie Cohen and Katherine Ellison is perfect inspiration for girls ages 9+. We recently reviewed the book and admired the different women leaders depicted, giving lessons in life and business.

Stories from Oprah, Sheryl Sandberg, Venus Williams, Diane von Furstenberg, and more show that growing a business is not easy, but it’s definitely worth putting your heart and soul into.

Whether your child is athletic, into fashion, cooking, writing, or has a different passion, each vignette will give them something to think about when it comes to becoming their own CEO. Mini-biographies focus on growing a customer base, raising money for research, developing a nice, and more.

The book even gives marketing and branding lessons for your young CEO-to-be. Boys can also find inspiration in these powerful stories that show girls can do it all! This is definitely one book we have on our bookcase and read again and again.
