CARDBOARD RAINBOW ART

 

This vibrant ombre cardboard rainbow art is so fun and versatile. You can hang the rainbows as a cheerful decor, or use them as cards and write on the back  They make a great recycled craft activity for St Patrick’s Day or to celebrate International Day of Happiness on March 20 (how cool is this holiday?). Cardboard Rainbow Art – Materials:

 
Cardboard
Colorful paint & paintbrush
Glue stick
Tape
Cutter
 
 
 
 

Instructions:

 
Step 1: With your compass draw a large half circle. Then starting from the same point with your compass make smaller half circles (2 or 3 max). Cut your rainbow.
 
Step 2: Paint either in the same shade of color or mix them. Let dry. 
 
Step 3: Now with your colored construction paper cut two cloud shapes. Then glue them on each edge of your rainbow.
 
Step 4: Turn your rainbow. Cut a small piece of string and tape it to your rainbow.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
String these up as a colorful decor or write notes on the back to cheer up someone’s day!
