I had so much fun with this pineapple “cake” made with fresh fruit and yogurt frosting that I wanted to do something similar using graham crackers. These iconic square cookies make the perfect “cake” layers for a delicious, healhthy-ish treat for those days you want to give your kids a mini celebration without over indulging.

Graham Cracker Chocolate Banana “Cake” – Ingredients:

– Graham crackers
– 2 tablespoons Nutella chocolate hazelnut spread
– 4 oz cream cheese (softened or at room temperature)
– Sliced bananas

It’s pretty simple, combine the Nutella and cream cheese, and layer on top of the graham crackers, adding sliced bananas on top. Make the cake as high as you want!

This graham cracker mini cake is an easy treat kids can make and it tastes delicious! The combination of the cream cheese gives a slight tang to offset the sweetness of the chocolate spread – similar to a chocolate yogurt.

The chocolate and cream cheese dip also taste really good with just plain graham crackers or fresh fruit.
