Here a really fun way to paint with kids that produces beautiful marbled results every time! Check out the video above of my six year old making them to see how easy it really is and read below for more specific instructions.

Kid-Made Marbled Nail Polish Bowls – Materials:

– Disposable bowl

– Nail polish (we used these inexpensive fun glitter colors)

– Small white bowls (like these)

– Stick or chopstick to swirl the polish around

Step 1. Fill your disposable bowl with water. Add nail polish in various colors. My daughter had a fun time choosing what color combinations she wanted.

Step 2. This is optional but you can use a stick to swirl the colors around for different looks and patterns.

Step 3. Dip the bottom of your bowl in the water/nail polish mixture, swirl around to get the sides and leave it upside down to dry completely.

I just love all the different colors and how beautiful the marbling is on the bowls. My daughter loved making these!

These would make lovely kid-made gifts for Mother’s Day or Teacher Appreciation week. You could easily add soil and small plants to make them stand out even more.

Have you tried nail polish painting? We had so much fun with this easy project and I love how no two bowls are alike!
