I think there’s a bit of creative in all of us, but not everyone is able to piece together something from scratch. Enter CHICK CHACK, a new company that puts unique projects all under one DIY kit to make it fun and easy to create.

Founded by two moms and designers from Tel Aviv, Lior and Anat, who dreamt up this concept just a few months ago, CHICK CHACK is a collaboration of their passion for making and inspiring other to do the same.

I was able to speak to Anat recently who told me:

“It is very important for us that the products are original and desirable, things that if you see in a shop you would just want to have. The satisfaction of making them yourself is even greater that way.

Making the kits is a DIY project too since we screen print the fabrics ourselves, we sew the packaging and we put great care to every detail.”

Currently, CHICK CHACK offers one kit on their site, with a new one being offered ever other month.

The current design is a cute cotton fabric drawstring bag/backpack for kids which comes with all the materials and instructions needed to put it together. It comes in a choice of cuddly koala, bear or panda design.

Anat mentioned they are working on their next kit which will be revealed soon. All their kits will be in the same lines of handmade, textile based designs that are fun to make, with some for adults coming in the mix too.

You can purchase the current kits ($18) on CHICK CHACK’S online shop.
