10 TODDLER FREE PRINTABLES FOR LEARNING (AND FUN!)

When it comes to amusing toddlers, we’re always on the lookout for quick and easy activities that are equally fun and educational. Free printables are our favorite solution, and the latest ones we’ve found leave lots of room for a child’s creativity and imagination. Best of all, many of these projects promote interaction between kids, or discussion between parent and child. Check out our roundup of the best free printables for toddlers to find your tot’s next favorite activity.

Ice Cream Matching (via Busy Little Bugs)

Even the littlest toddlers can play with this delectable looking printable, which will help teach them to recognize and name colors.

Creature Charades (via Buggy and Buggy)

With a farm animal set and a zoo animal set, these animal charade cards can lead to hours of fun. A great printable for families to enjoy together.

United States map (via Lulu the Baker)

Kids can learn our country’s geography by coloring in this map. Have them color in states they want to visit or states they have visited, or color in states whose license plates they see- lots of fun and educational possibilities.

ABC Chart (via The Paper Mama)

A simple printable that helps little kids learn letters in their upper-case and lower-case form. Looks great in a colorful frame.

Bunny Opposite Cards (via Kids Activities Blog)

These bunny cards take matching games to the next level – instead of matching the same bunnies, you match each bunny to its opposite. Fun to play with and to color!

Creatures of the Sea Hand Puppets (via Handmade Charlotte)

Super-easy puppets that require no cutting whatsoever. Kids will love painting designs on the friendly pufferfish or filling in the smiling fish’s fins.

Monster Mash Bingo (via Create Craft Love)

A great way to entertain a little group of monsters: a cute and not-at-all-scary game of Monster Mash Bingo. Would be great for a monster-themed birthday party (we’ve got even more monster-themed crafts here).

5 Senses Workbook (via Gift of Curiosity)

Sorting these printable cards based their corresponding sense can lead to educational and fun discussions between parents and children.

Bear Hunt Printable (via Pink Stripey Socks)

We’re Going on a Bear Hunt is one of my kids’ favorite books, and they can enjoy the story and illustrations even more while making these printable bear puppets and masks.

Templates for Cardboard Animals (via Small for Big)

Once these friendly animal shapes are cut out, kids can get creative while painting or decorating them. For additional imaginative fun, mount the cardboard animals on sticks- boom! Shadow puppets!

Silhouette Matching (via The Connection We Share)

Colorful, cartoon-like silhouettes of all the planes, trains, and automobiles that kids love. The printable includes instructions on how to use these for matching games and for making a “busy bag” for dining out and travel.
