Let the kids express how much they love mom by showing off their creativity on tea towels! They’re useful, inexpensive and one-of-a-kind gifts. Maybe these will even encourage little ones to help out in the kitchen more!
Kids Art Tea Towels – Materials:
– Fabric markers (these are great so you can wash the towels without the ink fading)
It’s pretty simple, let kids draw whatever they want on the towels. You can also help them with prompts. In one case we used one of our favorite flower books, Planting a Rainbow by Lois Ehlert, for garden drawings.
Or you can ask kids to write a special message directly on the towel along with the drawing. Doubles as a Mother’s Day card!
Both my 5 and 7 year old enjoyed working side by side coming up with their own unique illustrations.
Didn’t they turn out adorable? (spelling mistakes and all 🙂 Each one is so special.
You can wrap up a few with a ribbon. These would also make wonderful Teacher Appreciation gifts or lovely kid-made gifts for the grandparents.
