Get your kids in the Halloween spirit by making these fun felt tin can monsters. A great way to recycle old cans and celebrate this spooky holiday in a cute (not scary) way!

Our kids love the open-ended process of making their own monsters. All you need are felt scraps and cute googly-eyes to get to work making lots of quirky monster personalities.

Tin Can Felt Monsters - Materials:

- Tin cans

- Felt (we used scraps and patterned designs)

- Googly-eyes

- Hot glue

- Scissors

Instructions:

Step 1. Cover your tin cans with felt with hot glue.

Step 2. Let the kids cut out monster features like mouth, teeth, hair, horns, etc.

Step 3. Glue your felt features onto the cans. You're done!

Not only is this a fun Halloween craft (it makes cute decor too!) it's a good cutting activity for kids as they are cutting out face features and shapes.
