Make Valentine’s Day a magical journey of love and friendship. Have kids show their support for their families and friends by making an easy popsicle stick unicorn craft. Kids will love to construct, paint and add details to bring this creature to life!
Unicorn Popsicle Stick Craft – Materials:
Yarn in various colors
Cardstock
Tacky glue
Paint brushes
Instructions:
Step 1. First glue 7 popsicle sticks together side by side. Allow it to dry well.
Step 2. Paint your sticks white. Allow the paint to dry well.
Step 3. Glue on some yarn to the top as the mane.
Step 4. Glue on paper eyes, ears and a horn.
Step 5. Paint on a nose or nostrils!
For extra hanging ability glue a magnet or string to the back and pair with a treat or special note for Valentine’s Day.
Boys may not be so inclined to participate in the Valentine’s Day festivities so make their crafts a little less frilly and stick to cooler colors. Throw in a heart or two to keep it “traditional”. They will have a blast making silly, scary faces, but remind them that even little monsters are capable of love too!

Monster Popsicle Stick Craft – Materials:
Wiggle eyes
Washi tape
Pipe cleaners
Tacky glue
Paint brushes
Instructions:
Step 1. First glue 7 popsicle sticks together side by side. Allow it to dry well.
Step 2. Paint your sticks a blue-green color. Allow the paint to dry well.
Step 3. Glue on some yarn to the top as the hair. After the glue was dried I brushed the yarn with a small brush to make it all crazy!
Step 4. Place a piece of tape over wiggle eyes and cut off the extra, this makes great eyelids.
Step 5. Glue on eyes, a mouth, teeth and eyebrows. I used a heart paper punch to make the nose.
