BILDOPOLIS: CARDBOARD BUILDING KIT

What kid doesn’t love playing with large cardboard boxes? Bildopolis makes it easy to construct anything you imagine with their building kit that allows you and your children to build child-sized structures, or “bildings”. Despite the funny spelling, these structures are the real deal.

There are a variety of panels in different shapes, which you attach together using velcro called “Bilding Dots”. Note that this makes the structures semi-permanent in that the dots are meant to hold the panels together. The panels themselves are made from 40% recycled cardboard, making them recyclable and compostable, so you could say these are green “bildings”. See in depth here how the white circles are the “loop” side and Dots are the “hook side” to attached the panels together.

Currently the Big Bilder ($80) comes in a set of Bilding Boards in various shapes and 100 dots that allow your child to think outside the (cardboard) box to make cool houses, structures, tunnels and more.
