FRUIT SQUEEZER FROZEN BANANA POPS: EASY KID SUMMER SNACK

Thank you to Horizon for sponsoring this post.

We’re heading towards the end of the school year and the kids are excited for summer to start and playing outside more! We’re already experiencing warmer weather here and have been enjoying our snack time outside.

These frozen banana pops are a delicious frozen fruit treat that’s also festive to celebrate to celebrate the start of summer. We love sneaking in extra fruit so the coating is made from fruit squeezer. Add a dash of sprinkles and you’ve got a yummy kid-approved treat that just the right size to handle for kids.

Fruit Squeezer Frozen Banana Pops – Ingredients:

– Bananas

Horizon Super Squeeze blend of fruit and milk (we used the Strawberry Bash and Mixed Berry flavors but you can use any flavor you’d like)

– Assorted sprinkles

– Yogurt

– Popsicle sticks

– Parchment paper

Step 1. Cut your bananas in half and insert a popsicle stick in each half.

Step 2. Squeeze a fruit squeezer pouch into a bowl, add a heaping tablespoon of yogurt and mix. This will thicken it up so it’s easier to coat the bananas. We used two pouches to coat 8 banana halves.

Step 3. Dip your bananas into the coating, using a spoon to get them fully coated. Add sprinkles on all sides. Place on a parchment lined plate that will fit into your freezer.

Step 4. Once all your bananas have been dipped, place your plate inside the freezer until frozen, at least an hour.

Remove from the freezer and enjoy a refreshing party or summer treat! The kids loved the naturally sweetened fruit squeezer coating made with organic milk and real fruit. It’s such a fun snack to make with the kids too, just dip and freeze.

What are your favorite ways to celebrate summer with kids?
