RECYCLED CERERAL BOX BACKPACK FOR KIDS

Head back to school with this cute recycled craft by turning a cereal box into a stylish backpack for little ones. Strong enough for a toddler or preschooler to show off and a funn project that can customized in any color you’d like.

Recycled Cereal Box Backpack – Materials:

– Cereal Box
– Scissor
– Duct Tape
– Cutter
3M Command Velcro strips

Instructions:
Step 1: Have all your supplies ready.

Step 2: Tape (or glue) the opened end of the cereal box closed; then cut your cereal box as shown on the picture.

Step 3: Now tape the entire cereal box with your duct tape. You can do the inside if you want too.

Step 4: Turn your cereal box on the back side and with your cutter make 4 slits for the straps : 2 on the top & 2 on the bottom.

MAKE THE STRAPS: glue together 2 long piece of duck tape.

Now pass one strap on each slit, up and down on the left side. On the inside of the cereal box tape or glue the strip to the cereal box. Repeat this for the right side.
Step 5: Do another slip on the top of your cereal box for the handle. Pass the strap and glue or tape on the inside.

Step 6: Out of your leftover strips (optional):
For the Name Tag: Cut a leader shape; then make a slit and pass another string of duct tape. Pass this name tag on the top handle of your backpack and tape or glue it together. Write your child’s name.
For the velcro: draw on your duck tape strap a last shape. I chose the one show on the picture. Glue on the back, with one velcro. Then glue (shape with the velcro) it on the backpack, and finally glue the other velcro as it is show.

That is it. Your backpack is ready to rock for back to school.

You always can customized and get crazy!
