We had so much fun with our rainbow squeegee art that we had to make some Easter eggs using the same method!

These marbled Easter eggs are so fun for kids to create and produce beautiful marbled paper eggs. You can hang them up as fun Easter decorations or string them up as a garland!

Squeegee Easter Egg Art – Materials:

Squeegee
Watercolor paper
– Paints in various colors (we used tempera paints in squeeze bottles to make it easier for little hands to apply)
– Drop cloth or butcher paper
– Egg template

FREE PRINTABLE EGG TEMPLATE (download HERE)

Instructions:

Step 1. First you’ll need an egg template to cut out. You can use our FREE PRINTABLE. Once you cut one out, you can use it as a template to make lots of paper eggs.

Step 2. Add drops of paint on your paper Easter eggs.

Step 3. Squeeguee in different directions to add texture and colors. Wipe off squeegee in between the next egg. That’s it!

Allow your paper Easter eggs to fully dry. Stack something heavy like books once dried over them to prevent curling.

You can use these pretty marbled Easter eggs as cards, decorations or garlands. To make cards, make them smaller than we did.
