I love modern designs for kids that are both beautiful and functional. MENUT does it in an innovative fashion with a fresh and modern take on kids’ furniture. A design studio founded in 2011 and based in Spain, their designs merge functionality with style and design for an end result that is both useable and modern.
For example, MENUT”s “Leonardo” table, inspired by turtles, is a two-seater desk that functions well as an art station – each side with their own chair and workspace. The sides of the table have room (and holders) to display the child’s artwork, the table has storage space for the art supplies, and the chairs have storage under the seat area as well. There’s a great amount of function in this cute and colorful package.
Some of their other products include “Lefun”, a storage bin that can be wheeled about, a tree-inspired stool called “Trunk”, the “Animals” series of chairs, with deer, rabbit, bear, and mouse, and a cushion and felt rug combo seemingly inspired by lily pads.
I spoke with designer Maria Baldo over at MENUT and she states they’re still in the manufacturing process so items are not yet available for purchase. We’ll definitely keep you posted on when and where these striking and unique products are available.
