I received these as gifts once and thought they were so adorable as presents for children as well to get them excited about planting. Egglings are hidden treasures for a cute gardening project you can do with your kids. While they look like an egg, once you crack the top open, you’ll discover a garden that’s ready to grow. The seeds are already planted in a soil mixture, so you just need to crack the top and add water and sun. This little “egg” can support the plant for the first ~5 months, at which point it should be transported to a pot.
In addition to Egglings, there are a number of other fun products in funny shapes and sizes, including Nyokki containers that grow plant “hair” and potato-inspired Taterpots. Egglings can be found for purchase here.
