CUTE ROCKING PAPER SHARK CRAFT

Kick off Shark Week with the kids with this cute Rocking Shark Craft. Glue on tissue paper for a fun hands-on art project. Or simply print out the free printable and color in with your favorite markers or colored pencils!

Rocking Shark Craft – Materials:

Cardstock and printer
Tissue paper in light and dark blue
– Scissors
– Glue and/or double-stick tape
Googly Eyes
Mod Podge or diluted glue with water
– Small paintbrush

Colored Pencils and Markers (optional if you want to color in instead of use tissue paper)

FREE PRINTABLE SHARK TEMPLATE (DOWNLOAD HERE)

Instructions:
(Watch the video at the top of post for tutorial or follow along)

Step 1. Print out the free printable Shark Template. Cut out both sides of the shark and fins. You can cover with tissue paper or color in the blank version.

For the tissue paper version:

Step 2. Cut small squares of tissue.

Step 3. Using a small paintbrush, brush an even layer of Mod Podge (or diluted glue with water) over your shark and start layering the tissue paper squares over.

Step 4. Cut away the excess tissue paper from the shark template.

Step 5. Also glue on tissue paper to the fins.

Step 6. Allow the tissue paper to dry. Using double stick tape or glue connect the two shark templates together with the tab at top. Add extra glue or tape to the tail and top fin to connect firmly.
