We’ve seen so many fun ideas of using a Lazy Susan for spin art that we had to try our own with a twist, skewer art!
Check out our inspiration from Homegrown Friends for lazy susan art. This is a fun action art project for littles ones. They will love squeezing paint on the Lazy Susan, watch it spin, and use skewers to make swirly spirals and patterns.
Lazy Susan Skewer Spin Art – Materials:
– Lazy Susan
– Paper (we used watercolor paper cut into large circles)
– Paint (we used acrylic and washable tempera paints)
Step 1. Tape your paper on top of the Lazy Susan. While spinning, add paint in concentric circles. Then start creating spirals with your skewers. Do it with two skewers if you’d like. Repeat for lots of paint fun with as many color combinations as you’d like!
Watch the fun video above to see how easy this is to set up.
This art project is a blast and produces such beautiful, vibrant prints!
Have you tried Lazy Susan Spin Art before? You can also try regular spin art and turn them into doily flowers!
