KID-MADE DIY RECYCLED CARDBOARD MARBLE MAZE


Building a maze is a fun way to stretch those puzzle and building muscles with kids. Find out how to turn an old cardboard box into a fun straw maze with loose bits of wooden arts and craft materials!

Cardboard Maze – Materials:

– Shallow cardboard box

– Paint (optional)

– Straws

– Wooden bits like small wooden beads, mini blocks and spools

– Hot glue gun (this low temp one is great for kids)

– Scissors, pencil

– Small marble or wooden bead

Instructions:

Step 1. Paint your box if you’d like. Have your child draw out a maze in pencil.

Step 2. Have your child cut out straws and hot glue onto their penciled maze.

Step 3. Use your wooden bits, beads, or mini wooden spools to act as stoppers.

Step 4. Finally to play, use a wooden bead or marble and drive it around your newly constructed maze.

This is a great recycled project from start to finish that gets kids tinkering, building and proud of making their very own handmade toy!
