This adorable Valentine free printable card with cheeky quote makes a fun kid craft. All you need are pom poms to make the “sheep’s wool.” These fun cards make cute handmade Valentine cards kids will have a blast making. Plus they come with a free printable!

Nothing speaks more from the heart then to receive a handmade gift for Valentine’s Day, especially when one of your little ones make it for you. With the help of another parent or guardian, your child can print up my valentine free printable card, and have so much fund with different colored pom poms and glue.

My Valentine Free Printable Card Creates a Fun Time!

If your little one loves to have sensory play time, then my Valentine free printable card will be right up their alley — and maybe yours, too!

This fun kid’s Valentine project has such great visual and tactile fun. Your child will get to use their imagination by seeing all of the different colored pom poms of different sizes all right within their reach. They’ll probably wind up having more fun playing with the pom poms, then actually having to glue them onto the the Valentine free printable card. Can you blame them? I know that I would love to sit there and play with pom poms all day long, if I could. 

 

Materials Needed for Valentine Free Printable Card:

– Free Valentine printable sheep card (download below)
– Glue
Pom Poms (tiny and small ones work best)

 

Instructions for Valentine Free Printable Sheep Card:

Step 1. Print out the free ship card and let your kids “design” their sheep. My kids and their friends had a great time doing this and easily made 3-4 cards each. You print my free Valentine printable on any type of paper, but I would recommend using a thicker card stock type of paper. 

Step 2. If your child is old enough to handle glue, have them dab a small dot to each pom pom and place them on the sheep. Allow to dry.

These cards are so bright and colorful and FUN! Hands down my kids’ favorite handmade card so far. The vibrant colors form the pom poms really help brig the Wooly Be My Valentine free printable card to life. I love Wooly so much! Look how cute he is after the pom poms are glued on.

There are endless combinations you can make in colors. In fact I couldn’t resist making a couple myself. Remember me saying that I could play with pom poms all day? I told you I was gonna be sucker for playing them and the glue. In fact, just a suggestions for sensory play, you should put all of the pom poms in a huge plastic container so it can pulled out to be played with at any time!
