MAKE CRAZY PASTA SCULPTURES

We love turning anything into sculptures around here with everyday objects. See how we made these crazy pasta sculptures that look like twisty and bendy pieces of art!

Crazy Pasta Sculptures – Materials:

– Dried pasta

– Paint, paint brushes (we love these neon tempera paints)

– Pipe cleaners (these colorful ones are super cool)

Balsa wood block

– Drill

Instructions:

Step 1. Drill holes in your balsa wood block and push in your pipe cleaners.

Step 2. Paint your pasta shapes. Allow to dry before threading.

Step 3. Now the fun part begins! Let the kids thread noodles, macaroni and past shapes through the pipe cleaners. Bend and twist them around the pasta. Let them have fun!

I love how colorful these turned out! A pretty piece of kid-made art you can display and have fun with over and over again.
