DIY CARDBOARD GEM SHAPE SORTER GAME

Make a fun shape sorting game for your little ones! Dazzle it up with some gem details to make it fun and sparkle.

DIY Cardboard Gem Shape Sorter Game – Materials:

– Cardboard

– Paint and paintbrush

– Cutter

– Ruler

– Sharpie

– Glue
– Dowel Pins
Instructions:
Step 1: Have all your supplies ready.

Step 2: Cut out from your cardboard 3 rectangles (6″x14″).

Step 3: take another cardboard piece, and draw your shapes twice. Here I’ve made some gem shapes. Then cut, glue them together and paint them the color you want.

Step 4: Take one of your 14″x 6″ cardboard rectangle and draw on it the same shapes you cut previously. Basically you are putting together the top of your game; now you can cut the shapes out.

Step 5: Glue together your 3 rectangle pieces, including the one you just made. Allow to dry and then paint.

Step 6: Below is what you should have now!

Step 7: Make a hole on each gem shape; now you can paint your fluted dowel pin and then insert each of then in your gem shapes. You can glue if necessary.

Now it’s time to play!
