You can prop up your rainbow shamrock as cute decor or add some string and hang it up! We provide some additional suggestions below on what you can do to spruce up your rainbow shamrock.

But first, let’s find out a little bit about shamrocks! We always like to add a little bit of learning if possible in with our crafting time.

What’s the difference between a shamrock and a four-leaf clover?

The biggest difference between a shamrock and a four-leaf clover is that a shamrock only has three leaves versus the four-leaf clover having four.

What do the three leaves of a shamrock stand for?

The three leaves of a shamrock stand for hope, faith, and love. This is why when someone finds a four-leaf clover, it’s considered to be “lucky” and that’s what the fourth leaf actually means as well.

It’s always fun to learn new things, right? Especially when you’re crafting with your child and taking the time to actually learn about what you’re crafting as well.

Having a 3D Shamrock is really such a fun decoration as well. No matter where it hangs from or how it’s spinning, it’s always showing off all the various leaves.

Where is a good place to display this Rainbow Shamrock craft?

Anywhere that you want! You can hang from a string and hang in front of the window to catch the breeze and spin.

Or place it on a shelf as a fun display for the St. Patrick’s Day holiday. We’ve even made this up to give to our family and friends as a fun gift, as well.

Is this a form of origami?

It’s not but it is still creating with paper. If you’re looking for origami, check out this ORIGAMI SEA LIFE CRAFT or our ORIGAMI CHICKS AND BUNNIES IN EGG CARTON craft as well!
