How long does this pine cone Christmas tree craft take to make?

Not long at all. It’s actually a super simple process that results in a fun decoration in about 10 minutes.

However, since most times our children are learning the same time that they’re creating, I always let our children take as long as they want when they’re crafting.

This way they’ll really be creating with their senses and using their imagination as well.

Because let’s all be honest about the fact that even though there might be a certain way to put together these pine cone trees, it’s also a craft that imagination can be easily used with as well.

Do you need to let your pine cones dry out before using them?

If you literally pick up pinecones from outside rather than buying at the store, then you’re going to want to make certain that they’re dried out before crafting with them.

This is easy to do as you just have to wait it out but it’s an important step so that they are easier to paint as well.

Or you can just buy store-bought already dried pine cones.
