Add a little sparkle to your Easter eggs this year with these fun glitter and tissue paper Easter eggs. This is a fun one for kids to dip them hand into, full of messy and colorful fun! The results are gorgeous, vibrant eggs that can be played with over and again since they call for paper maché eggs.
Step 2. Lay out butcher or parchment paper onto a workspace. Add some Mod Podge to a disposable bowl. Dip your fingers in the Mod Podge and spread some onto your paper maché egg and add tissue paper, layering on Mod Podge over the paper. Your hands will get sticky so you'll have to wash them in between decorating a few times.
Step 3. After the tissue paper has dried, you can add a light coating of spray adhesive and then sprinkle glitter on top.
Shake off excess glitter and admire your sparkly, pretty eggs!
At this point you can flip over the eggs and add more spray adhesive and glitter but we choose to keep one side glittered and one side with just the tissue paper because we liked both effects!
