KID-MADE MOTHER’S DAY TREASURE BOX

This kid-made Mother’s Day treasure box is an easy art project for kids and can be filled with sentimental items moms will love from their kids like love notes, art and jewelry!

Kid-Made Mother’s Day Treasure Box – Materials:

Wooden unfinished box
– Paint (we used acrylic)
– Paint brushes
– Masking tape

Instructions:

Step 1. Give your box two coats of white paint, waiting in between each coat for the paint to dry.

Step 2. Mask off sections with masking tape.

Step 3. Paint in the sections with various colors of paint.

Step 4. Remove the tape once the paint has dried. And voila! You have a pretty geometric design.

You’re done with your beautiful treasure box for mom. Now the fun part – filling it with treasures. How about a sweet card, handwritten note or kid-made jewelry?
