With Mother's Day coming up, we have flowers on our mind. Gift mom something beautiful and handmade like these gorgeous Paper Flower Bouquets. Kids can get in on the fun by helping punch out paper, tape, glue and assemble flowers. They can also design their own 3D vase by coloring their own! (see our heart version below).

3D Paper Flower Bouquets - Materials:

- Free Printable 3D Vases (6 designs including blank one to color your own!) created by The Art Dream

- Colored cardstock
- Decorative straws
- Tape, regular and double-stick
- Heart puncher (one inch)
- Scrap tissue paper
- Glue
- Scissors

Instructions (watch the video above for details on how to make or follow below).

Step 1. For the vase, print out the design you like, fold in the flaps along the scored lines and also along the center black lines. Use double stick tape or glue to tape to a piece of colored cardstock.

Step 2. For the flowers. Cut out hearts using you heart puncher. For each flower, use 5 hearts. Fold hearts in half. Then line them up side by side in a circular shape and tape the back (or use glue). Scrunch up a small piece of tissue paper and glue to center of flower. Tape flower to a decorative straw. You will need to snip the straws at bottom as they will be too long for the vase.

Step 3. Cut simple green leaves. Use tape or glue to adhere to the straw flowers.

Step 4. Repeat for as many blooms as you'd like in your vase. We used 5 flowers per vase. Simply add the flowers inside the vase. Use double-stick tape to secure to cardstock so they don't fall around or move.
